Emotions can run high after a breakup, making it hard to discuss plans for your children’s future with your ex-partner. We can help you to have the difficult conversations.
Family mediation supports parents and children through family change and disruption as a result of separation, divorce or family restructuring.
The aim of mediation is to agree on practical, workable arrangements for the future, taking into account children’s views, needs and feelings. Our focus is on putting children’s needs first. We do not help parents get back together.
We also offer one-off, three-hour workshops called Parenting Apart where parents can find out how best to support their children through separation. The workshops cover: the emotional process of separation; children’s different needs at different stages; and what children need to hear. Please get in touch with your local service to find out how we can help.
